Argolida (or Argolis) is a geographical and historical region of Greece which is one of the prefectures of the country and now administratively a regional unit of the Peloponnese Region. It is located in the eastern part of the Peloponnese and is washed to the south by the Argolic Gulf and to the east by the Saronic Gulf. It borders Corinth to the north and Arcadia to the west and south.
