The Wreath or throne of Zeus is one of the most characteristic peaks of Greece and Olympus.
Its first ascent was made on 12/08/1921 by the Swiss climber and surveyor Marcel Kurz together with the local mountain guide Christos Kakalos using a rope from the gutter of Strivada. Come and follow in their footsteps, taking the very same path they followed then, ascending Mytikas and Stefani on the same day from their classic ascent routes.
